Elizabeth Jane Haynes BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy at BodyPrime.
Jane is a chartered physiotherapist, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC).
Jane graduated from Southampton University in 1997 with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since graduation Jane has worked continuously as a physiotherapist. Her vast array of experience with acute injuries, includes treating patients with spinal injuries, while working with the Accident and Emergency physiotherapy service at Poole Hospital.
Jane is an active member of the British Health Professionals in Rheumatology (BHPR) while working closely with the Rheumatology department at Poole Hospital treating patients with inflammatory arthritis, particularly Ankylosing Spondylitis, and won a silver medal award from the Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC).
Over the past year Jane has been a co-convenor for the East-Dorset Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance Group (ARMA).
In 2000 Jane trained in acupuncture and became an accredited member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists (AACP). Because of the clear benefits Jane now includes acupuncture as part of her physiotherapy practices. Jane is licensed by the local authority to provide a private acupuncture services.
Jane's acupuncture techniques are based on the official Chinese cosmetic acupuncture course brought to the UK by Dr. John Landale, a reknowned acupuncturist, in 1980.
